My visit

Sadie and I took a day while in Michigan to drive through Detroit and visit the Belle Isle Park. We were also going to visit William G. Milliken State Park also, but the entrance was closed. The Belle Isle Park is located on an island in between Detroit and Ontario. You can get a great view of the Detroit skyline from the tip of the island, which is known as Sunset Point. Unfortunately, we weren't there at sunset.

There was no admission fee because of Covid. Everything in the park was also shut down because of Covid! The bathrooms were even locked! Come on Michigan... REALLY!!! I guess a few very disgusting port-a-potties will keep you safer from Covid than an actual bathroom!! NOT!

Anyway, it was an interesting place. It would have been far more interesting if we could have went into the Conservatory or the Aquarium. I guess that how vacations roll in 2020! (Especially in a Democrat-run state!) Trump 2020!!
