2021 Roadtrip along the Blue Ridge National Parkway in Virginia on March 23rd

My visit

The weather was predicted to be cool and cloudy with a chance of rain. This is perfect weather to just stay indoors, but not when you're on an EPIC Roadtrip! So, we chose to drive across the state line from NC to Virginia and check out the stops along the Blue Ridge National Parkway. The drive was crazy foggy in places with zero visibility, but we made it to all of the stops on our list! It was raining when we reached to Mabry Mill. I was a bit disappointed with this because there were some small trails that I wanted to go on to get pics. Overall, it was an enjoyable day, but the bad weather continued after we left North Carolina for Kentucky, so this was the last pics of our 2021 EPIC Roadtrip!

A Blue Ridge Parkway experience is unlike any other: a slow-paced and relaxing drive revealing stunning long-range vistas and close-up views of the rugged mountains and pastoral landscapes of the Appalachian Highlands. The Parkway meanders for 469 miles, protecting a diversity of plants and animals, and providing opportunities for enjoying all that makes this region of the country so special.
